Titus 2:11-13

"For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus."

Getting to Know ME!

If you're visiting from Lynnette's Getting to Know You (or anywhere else!), welcome!  In order to help you get to know me, allow me to introduce myself!  I am a born-again Christian, wife to a wonderful husband, and mother of five children--two here on earth, one in heaven, and two on the way.  I love to write, and my blog is a place where I can record my thoughts and share them with whoever cares to read.  I especially love to share about what God is teaching me through my everyday circumstances.  To catch up on some of the latest things I've learned, you might want to check out my next post as well as those labeled The Story of Ande Lynn (the baby we lost to miscarriage last July) or Desiring a VBAC.  Some of my other favorite posts are listed in the sidebar under "The Best of the Archives."

Thank you for visiting!  I hope you will be encouraged as you peruse my blog.  Feel free to leave a comment on any post so I know you were here!

In Christ,
Angela

Angela, I didn't realize that you lost a baby. (Or maybe this over-loaded brain forgot), but I just wanted to say I'm sorry. When I found out last week that you had been in the hospital, I decided then that I'd feature you today. I knew you'd appreciate the prayers of your blogging friends.

I hope that you'll meet many new bloggers today. I know they'll be blessed by meeting you.
Your friend,
Lynnette

I went back and read some more and was reminded that YES, of course I had read about your sweet baby. I'm sorry that my brain didn't hold that information...especially MINE (one that should be so sensitive to loss). Well, had we met face to face, it would have been different. This blog world kind of reminds me of walking into a new church and meeting a ton of really neat people and then running into them at the grocery store and trying to remember who is who!

So Angela, forgive my absentmindedness. I promise I won't forget this again - it's engrained in my head now.
Love,
Lynnette

Just stopping by to say hello! A dear friend of mine gave birth to twins a week before our daughter was born. What a blessing! I will add you and yours to my prayers. Also, I noticed you and your husband are doing a read through of the bible this year. I am doing the same and it is such a delight to be in His word daily and begin to see how the whole bible fits together like a puzzle!

Hi Angela,

I've been by before on other ocassions so I was happy to see you featured today at Lynette's blog. I'll be praying for you and the babies. Twins run in my family, just not in me. :) I know from the experiences of my cousins and aunts that you need a lot of prayers now and in the future!

I'll be checking in on you periodically just to see how you and those little ones are doing. I've got a soft place in my heart for expectant mommies. Our 3rd daughter is expecting her first child in just a few months, too. Since she wasn't supposed to be able to ever have children we're all doubly in awe.
