Pictured here is all of our new curriculum for the upcoming school year. Eighty-three books, seven student workbooks, six teacher's manuals, three DVDs, two CD-roms, and two CDs--plus various other supplies--is going to make for one full bookcase... and a lot of excitement! (We love books around here! :-))
Needless to say, I had to do a little rearranging of our bookshelves in order to make room for all of this in my school cupboard; but, I managed to make it all fit nicely and have been enjoying opening the cupboard just to look at it. :-)

I would love it if you would share more about your homeschool! My son is only one but Sonlight is my favorite curriculum of those I've explored so far. Does it work well for both children to be at the level?

Thank you for your comment, marriedtothefarm. My oldest two kids are one year apart in school, and it has worked well to have them both in the same Sonlight core program (which includes Bible, History/Geography, and Read-Alouds) as well as the same Science program. However, they do have their own Language Arts, Handwriting, and Math programs, as those subjects need to be more age/ability specific. My three-year old twins will be ready for preschool next year; and to be honest, I'm not sure yet if I will attempt to teach from two core programs simultaneously or if I will find a way to adapt one core to fit the needs of two different levels. I believe that the Sonlight Curriculum Advisors will be able to help me with that decision when the time comes. Thanks for your question!
